Software developer Palantir Technologies secured a potential three-year, $49.9M task order from the Department of Homeland Security to update and maintain a cloud-based case vetting platform for the Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
A FedBizOpps notice posted Monday states that Palantir will provide information technology services including systems engineering, testing, assessment, data management and other infrastructure support for the ICE’s Investigative Case Management system.
The ICM infrastructure supports operations under DHS’ Homeland Security Investigations unit and is based on Palantir™s Gotham software, according to a FedBizOpps summary.
The task order, which has a one-year base period and two one-year options, is meant to support the agency’s intent to continue Palantir™s ICM system operations and maintenance services after a previously issued order expires Sept. 25.
Palantir offers software products for various applications such as artificial intelligence, cyber, automotive operations, financial compliance and case management.
