Oshkosh‘s (NYSE: OSK) defense business will produce and deliver Joint Light Tactical Vehicles to the U.S. Air Force, Army and Marine Corps under a potential two-year, $208.9 million contract modification.
Work will occur in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and is expected to conclude by Sept. 25, 2025, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Army Corps of Engineers serves as the contracting activity and will obligate funds from the other procurement budget of the Army, Marine Corps and Air Force.
In a separate announcement, Oshkosh said the contract covers the provision of JLTV trailers and associated packaged and installed kits.
Oshkosh Defense secured a potential $6.75 billion contract in August 2015 to build armored vehicles to replace the Humvee for the service branch and the Marine Corps and has since received orders for over 23,000 JLTVs from domestic and international military customers.
The company received a potential $592 million contract modification in November 2021 to produce additional military trucks and trailers.
Oshkosh Defense also supplies JLTVs for the U.S. military and the government of Montenegro under a $803.9 million contract awarded in December 2019.
