Jeff Harman, president of Oceus Networks since June 2020, will serve in the additional role of CEO at the Reston Virginia-based broadband communications company.
Harman has helped steward Oceus’ growth initiatives prior to the promotion and he will continue to lead innovation efforts across its portfolio in his expanded responsibilities, the company said Tuesday.
Brad Antle, executive chairman of Oceus and a previous Wash100 awardee, said the company is “primed to take full advantage of its technology leadership in an expanding 5G wireless market under Jeff’s stewardship.”
He joined the broadband services provider in March 2013 as senior vice president and general of its defense solutions business and elevated to the chief operating officer post in late 2014.
Before Oceus, he was an SVP and operating group manager at CACI International (NYSE: CACI). His career also included leadership roles at Teaming Associates, BBN and GSI.
Harman served in the U.S. Air Force before he moved to the private sector.
