Ocean Shipholdings has won a potential $292.7 million contract to manage transportation auxiliary general ocean surveillance and missile range instrumentation vessels for the U.S. Navy’s Military Sealift Command.
The company will operate and maintain five T-AGOS and two T-AGM units used to monitor missile launches and back commanders’ anti-submarine warfare mission in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, the Department of Defense said Thursday.
MSC received six offers for the firm-fixed-price contract via the SAM.gov website and will obligate the base contract value of $54 million before the end of the government’s 2022 fiscal year.
The performance of work could extend through Oct. 31, 2027, if the command exercises all options.
