Weatherwax brings to the role three decades of federal service experience in cybersecurity, data science and analytics, counterterrorism, counternarcotics and foreign partnerships, LNSSI said Tuesday.
She previously served as vice chair of the NSA National Signals Intelligence Committee, which advises the director of national intelligence on SIGINT policy development, and as NSA’s senior representative to the CIA.
The government veteran also spent six years at the U.S. Army’s military intelligence organization as foreign language analyst.
“Lori Weatherwax’s national security expertise, depth of knowledge of homeland security and defense, and the intelligence community’s need for data sharing will further allow us to meet the needs of the government today and prepare for the emerging challenges of the future,” said Haywood Talcove, CEO of LNSSI and a three-time Wash100 Award winner.
Weatherwax’s appointment comes as LNSSI seeks to build up its data and analytics offerings for homeland security, defense and intelligence sectors.
