Marianne Bailey, a former official at the National Security Agency and three-decade government service veteran, has joined Guidehouse as leader of the company’s cybersecurity practice.
She will work with clients to form strategies and implement artificial intelligence, open source, analytics, digital, emerging and enterprise risk management offerings meant to help them address cybersecurity risks, Guidehouse said Monday.
Bailey most recently served as deputy national manager for U.S. national security systems at NSA, Before that, she was as principal director of cybersecurity in the Pentagon’s Office of the Chief Information Officer.
She began her public-sector career in late 1984 as an NSA mechanical design engineer and later held various cybersecurity leadership roles across the agency. She also led the Unified Cross Domain Management Office for U.S. defense and intelligence agencies.
Baileys efforts have brought increased focus on the complex and sophisticated threats our nation faces, as we modernize our digital environment for global power competition,” said Scott McIntyre, CEO of Guidehouse and 2019 Wash100 Award recipient.
