NSA Vet Chris Kubic Joins Fidelis as Chief Information Security Officer

Chris Kubic, former chief information security officer of the National Security Agency, has been appointed to the same position at Fidelis Cybersecurity.

The 32-year NSA veteran brings government cybersecurity and information assurance experience to Fidelis and will lead the provision of strategies intended to help customers manage cyber risks, the company said Thursday.

He will also support the firm’s internal security program and strategic efforts related to the threat response platform Fidelis Elevate.

His career at NSA has also included roles as senior security architect for the agency’s cloud infrastructure and the intelligence community information environment. He also held the positions of technical director for the Information Assurance Architecture Office, network and space information assurance and global networking information assurance.
