Cheryl Peace, formerly a senior executive at the National Security Agency, has joinedCyxtera Technologies as chief operating officer of the information technology infrastructure company™s federal group.
Peace™s œexperience offers a deep understanding of the complex challenges that government agencies face in securing their infrastructure and protecting their information, Greg Touhill, president of Cyxtera™s federal group, said in a statement published Wednesday.
Cyxtera’s federal group works to deliver cybersecurity platforms and data center services to federal government clients.
Peace previously served as director for cyber space security at the White House and led the president™s National Security Telecommunication Advisory Council and the National Infrastructure Advisory Council.
She was instrumental in the establishment of the national cybersecurity division at the Department of Homeland Security.
She previously served as principal deputy director of FBI™s national cyber investigative joint task force and held technical management roles at the Defense Intelligence Agency and the Defense Information Systems Agency.
