Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has secured a potential nine-year, $65.2M contract from the U.S. Navy to provide systems and services to facilitate interoperability between a narrowband military communication satellite network and an ultra high frequency satcom gateway.
The company will also develop a satcom gateway suite B interface, perform technical upgrades and update documentation under the single-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
Work also covers pre-installation test and checkout; implementation, installation and sustainment; training; and cybersecurity services.
DoD noted the branch will obligate $25K at the time of award and the department expects work to conclude by March 2029.
