Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has secured a five-year, $70.3M contract to develop an open architecture and provide lifecycle support for the U.S. Navy's reconfigurable training systems.
The company will deliver a Personal Computer-based PORTS architecture along with simulation software and spare parts under the sole-source contract, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Services include trainer hardware procurement, equipment change request correction, software deficiency analysis and troubleshooting support.
Work will take place at various locations in California, Florida, Rhode Island, Virginia, Washington, Nevada, Texas, Hawaii and Japan through July 2025.
