Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC) has received a potential two-year, $209.7 million contract modification from the U.S. Air Force for Large Aircraft Infrared Counter Measures equipment and support.
The Defense Departmentsaid Wednesday the modification brings the total value of the previously awarded contract to $1.6 billion and allows for performance of services in calendar year 2018 base hardware buy.
The contract includes foreign military sales to South Korea.
Work will run through April 30, 2020.
The amount for the obligation will be fully covered by funds from fiscals 2016, 2017 and 2018 for aircraft procurement, the U.S. National Guard, the Navy, and operations and maintenance.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center conducted the contracting activity for the modification.
