The National Nuclear Security Administration is inviting vendors to submit feedback on a draft solicitation notice for a potential $800 million multiple-award contract to field systems intended to counter the illegal trade of nuclear and radiological materials.
NNSA’s planned multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to procure anti-nuclear smuggling equipment has a basic ordering period of three years along with a pair of two-year option periods, according to a notice posted Friday on SAM.gov.
Interested parties can send questions and comments on the preliminary draft request for proposals until Feb. 17.
Selected contractors will provide design engineering, construction management, communications systems, logistics support, inspection and testing and training services through the acquisition vehicle.
