The U.S. Agency for International Development has awarded nine companies spots on a potential seven-year, $500M contract to provide technical support to allow USAID™s energy initiatives to respond to post-conflict and post disaster recovery, regional security, economic growth and other agency priorities.
A FedBizOpps notice posted Monday says the Energy II indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covers four technical themes: clean energy, energy sector governance and reform, energy poverty and energy security.
Each contractor will provide technical support services in support of several efforts, including the development of strategies, assessments and program designs; creation of environments for energy sector reform and governance; and improvement of disaster preparation, recovery and response.
