The National Institutes of Health has released a solicitation for the third iteration of the multiple-award Public Information and Communication Services contract.
PICS III is a potential five-year, $1 billion indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract and will be competed as a total small business set-aside program, according to the solicitation notice published Thursday.
According to the statement of work, NIH and its partner agencies at the Department of Health and Human Services will use the IDIQ contract to procure communication, evaluation and social marketing services.
Principal task areas include communications research; news media and operations support; audience outreach and promotion; materials development; graphic design; foreign language translation and interpretation; information and referrals; exhibit development, design, production, storage and transport; meeting, conference and event support; and IT requirements.
Under the contract vehicle, the contractor should provide all qualified personnel, facilities and related services to meet the requirements of NIH and other agencies.
Proposals are due Jan. 18.
