The Department of the Navy has started soliciting proposals for a potential 10-year, $2.67 billion follow-on contract to provide wireless mobility and telecommunication devices and services for military personnel and federal civilian employees stationed within the country and U.S. territories.
The Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center San Diego will launch a full-and-open competition for the multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract in support of the Office of the Department of Defense Chief Information Officer, according to a solicitation notice published Tuesday.
Services to be provided under the IDIQ recompete contract include wireless carrier services, mobility end-point infrastructure, endpoint mobility management, mobile backend-as-a-service, telecom expense management services, mobile application vetting, internet of things and mobile threat protection.
Interested stakeholders should submit technical proposals containing subfactors for coverage, devices, transition plans, corporate management reporting capabilities and contingency communications capabilities.
Prospective offerors should also state in their bids past performance, pricing and small business subcontracting plan.
