The follow on contract will also provide for engineering services. In addition, it may be used to acquire DMR system-related amplifiers, combiners and couplers for satellite communications.
In December 2017, GDMS was awarded a $198 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to manufacture, test and deliver DMR systems to the Navy. The IDIQ, which is expected to be completed in 2022, also covers HFDAG components, spares and services.
