Wash100 reached its 10th anniversary this year, a reflection of its enduring legacy as the government contracting industry’s highest honor. In each iteration of the competition, Wash100 puts its nominees through a rigorous selection process that carefully assesses their past achievements and forward momentum to determine the top tier of GovCon leaders.
Del Toro’s win marks his first entry into the ranks of Wash100, which he earned for his monumental efforts to drive Navy modernization. His accomplishments over the past year include the initiation of a 30-year infrastructure modernization plan, which is currently in development, as well as reworking the service branch’s acquisition policy and leading the integration of emerging technologies into Navy operations.
