Six companies have won spots on a potential five-year, $249M contract from the U.S. Navy to build dry utilities at multiple government installations located in six states.
Contractors can vie for task orders to perform construction, repair or renovation work within the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest’s area of responsibility.
Projects may cover alternative energy, exterior or airfield lighting, communications and security, controls, electrical distribution and grounding systems.
The Navy will received 14 proposals for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, which runs through January 2024, and obligate $35K in fiscal 2019 operations and maintenance at the time of award.

Souza Construction
Synergy Electric
Tri-Technic
Ninety percent of projects will take place in California and the remaining 10 percent in Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Colorado and New Mexico.
