Four companies and one university research organization have won spots on a potential six-year, $100M other transaction agreement to develop expeditionary warfare technology protoypes for the Naval Sea Systems Command.
The U.S. Navy announced the multiple-party OTA award in a FedBizOpps notice posted Monday.
According to a solicitation notice, the service branch wants advanced sensors, weapons and other technology that could support land and sea EXW missions in littoral or near-coastal environments.
Selected contractors will conduct prototyping efforts under the program’s expeditionary maneuver, amphibious operations, land maneuver and threat engagement technological areas.
The OTA contains a two-year base period and two two-year options.
