Contract work will cover hardware and software for maritime mission areas including MCM, explosive ordnance disposal, anti-submarine warfare and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, the Naval Information Warfare Center said a request for proposals published Wednesday on SAM.gov.
Specifically, services under the planned eight-year, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract include fabrication, assembly, demonstration, deployment, configuration management, operations and maintenance of technologies designed to detect and defend against undersea mines and other explosives.
The contract, which will have a four-year base period and four one-year options, will serve as a recompete of a prior IDIQ awarded to seven companies in 2015.
