Six companies will vie for task orders on a potential 10-year, $2.45 billion contract from the U.S. Navy to install command, control, communications, computer, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems at Naval Information Warfare Systems Command facilities worldwide.
The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract also includes decommissioning and modernization of C4ISR platforms, project and program management, engineering design, industrial work, troubleshooting, operational verification and end-user training services, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
The service branch received seven bids for the IDIQ and will obligate $5,000 for the first task order. Contract work is initially scheduled to conclude by July 2024 and the ordering period could extend through July 2029 if the service branch exercises an option.
