Two joint ventures and five independent firms have secured positions on a potential five-year, $990M U.S. Navy contract to support construction projects within Naval Facilities Engineering Command's Hawaii area of operations.
Contractors may compete for task orders to build, repair, alter, or demolish infrastructures through the multiple-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Friday.
NAVFAC received 12 proposals for the IDIQ and initially obligated $175K on the award. The contract has a one-year base period and four option years.
