The award exercises the three-year option for the ordering period of the cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, multiple award contract and raises its maximum value to $213.2 million, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
The contractors will compete for task orders under the IDIQ, which covers services in support of the Bureau of Naval Personnel, Navy Personnel Command, the Navy Manpower Analysis Center, Commander Naval Education and Training, Commander Navy Recruiting Command and the Office of the Deputy Chief of Naval Operations.
Services include enterprise business analytics; software analysis; strategic support to chief information officer; data and information management; business process reengineering; hardware maintenance and development; cybersecurity; as well as information technology system and network support.
The ordering period is scheduled to start in September 2021 and end in September 2024. Eighty-two percent of the contract work will be performed in Tennessee, Florida and Virginia, while the remaining 18 percent will be conducted at various locations throughout the continental U.S. and contractor facilities.
