The U.S. Navy has awarded 10 companies positions on a potential five-year, $249.8 million contract to provide equipment and support services for the military branch’s test and training range instrumentation systems.
The vendors will provide remote ground stations, data processing and display systems, data collection systems, testing and troubleshooting hardware, host range interface equipment and other airborne and ground-based elements and interfaces under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
The IDIQ contract also covers long-term sustainment support for new and existing T&T range platforms, onsite and in-plant engineering and technical support, analyses, studies and site surveys in support of the Navy.
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division in California received 10 offers for the contract and will obligate funds upon issuance of individual orders.
Work will occur in California, Illinois, Iowa, Florida, Maryland, Ohio and other sites in the U.S. through March 2028.
