The U.S. Navy has selected Accenture Federal Services (NYSE: ACN) and Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) as additional awardees on a potential five-year, $980 million contract to support the Department of the Navy‘s Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness program.
Eight offers were submitted to the Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center’s Contracting Department for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a $153.8 million initial value, the Defense Departmentsaid Tuesday.
AFS and Booz Allen will each receive $50,000 in minimum contract funds from the service branch.
Work could extend through May 2023 if all options are exercised and will occur at government facilities located in Washington, D.C., San Diego and Hawaii.
The Navy initially awarded positions to Deloitte and KPMG on the multiple-award IDIQ contract in December 2017.
