According to the draft request for proposal posted on SAM.gov Tuesday, NAVFAC intends to award a cost-plus-fixed-fee, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to procure multi-discipline AE services supporting the Department of the Navy’s Environmental Restoration Program, including the Installation Restoration and Munitions Response programs. The contract is in compliance with the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act, or CERCLA, and similar programs.
The selected contractor will deliver the AE services at various Navy and Marine Corps facilities within the NAVFAC Pacific area of responsibility, including Hawaii, the Marianas, the Northwest and the Southwest. Potential work locations include Japan, Okinawa, Diego Garcia and other sites in the Pacific and Indian Oceans. Specific work locations will be determined with each contract task order.
The contract will be awarded on a cost-plus-fixed-fee basis with a guaranteed minimum of $5,000 for the full contract term. It will have a one-year base period and four one-year options with a potential six-month extension. Interested vendors can submit their responses until Oct. 30.
