HX5 has received a potential seven-year, $376.8 million contract to provide engineering, research and scientific support services to NASA‘s Glenn Research Center.
NASA said Thursday the Glenn Engineering and Research Support contract has a two-year base period slated to commence April 1, followed by a two-year option, another one-year option and a two-year award term.
Work covers engineering, research and scientific support for the Glenn facility’s communications and intelligent systems, power, propulsion, materials, structures and architecture.
Florida-based HX5 will help engineer facilities, manage projects and data and support scheduling activities at the Glenn facility.
The company will also support research programs related to space or gravity-dependent combustion and fluid systems as part of the contract.
HX5 provides engineering, information technology, military weather operations, mission operations support, program management logistics, research and development services to government customers.
