NASA has issued a request for proposals for the second iteration of a potential nine-year, $478 million contract to provide research and engineering services for the International Space Station.
Research, Engineering and Mission Integration Services 2 is a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract that covers spaceflight and ground software and hardware and software, engineering support, payload facility integration, sustaining engineering functions and research mission integration and operations in support of the ISS, according to a solicitation notice published Friday.
NASA’s Johnson Space Center will hold a full and open competition for the IDIQ contract, which has a seven-year base term and two option years.
The REMIS2 contract is expected to be awarded by the end of August and take effect on Oct. 1.
The agency will hold a pre-proposal conference on April 25 and accept questions related to the solicitation no later than April 26.
