The agency said Thursday it will place firm-fixed-price task orders through the Venture-Class Acquisition of Dedicated and Rideshare contract over five years.
NASA’s VADR program follows the Venture Class Launch Services and VCLS Demonstration 2 procurement efforts announced in 2015 and 2020, respectively.
The new acquisition vehicle contains a provision for incumbents and other vendors not selected for the existing contract to participate in a future on-ramp process to propose new launch service offerings.
