The space agency said Thursday Arrow Science and Technology, Impulse Space and Momentus Space were selected as part of the on-ramp process to the VADR indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to add new capabilities that were not identified at the time of the first award.
The selected vendors will compete for firm-fixed-price task orders under the IDIQ contract to support future missions.
The VADR contract has an ordering period that will run through Feb. 3, 2027, and builds on the Venture Class Launch Services program, VCLS Demo 2 and other NASA’s previous acquisition initiatives that provide Federal Aviation Administration-licensed commercial launch services designed to deliver CubeSats, Class D and higher risk-tolerant payloads to various orbits.
The agency’s Launch Services Program at the Florida-based Kennedy Space Center oversees the VADR contracts.
