Mobix Labs (Nasdaq: MOBX) intends to acquire electromagnetic interference technology provider J-Mark Connectors in an effort to boost revenue and grow its military aerospace footprint.
The Irvine, California-based semiconductor company said it expects the acquisition to close in August and to enhance sales strategy and boost gross margins for Mobix Labs.
“This acquisition significantly strengthens our sales strategy and enhances our market presence in the military, aerospace, and defense sectors,” remarked Mobix Labs CEO Fabian Battaglia. “By combining our expertise, we’re well-positioned to secure major accounts and boost gross margins, driving sustainable growth for our customers and stakeholders.”
J-Mark will bring to Mobix Labs demonstrated results in sales expansion and customer retention, and will add to the latter’s offerings supporting hardware that complement its existing Filtered Connector products.
The financial terms of the acquisition were undisclosed.
In 2022, Mobix Labs agreed to acquire EMI Solutions, a supplier of electromagnetic interference filtering products for defense and aerospace applications.
The company aims to advance the development of products designed for high-technology space and military-grade applications throigh the acquisition, according to Battaglia.
