Former Raytheon Exec Mitch Stevison Named EVP, Chief Growth Officer of Mercury Systems

Mitch Stevison, formerly a vice president at Raytheon Technologies‘ (NYSE: RTX) missiles and defense business, has been appointed executive VP and chief growth officer of Mercury Systems (Nasdaq: MRCY).

He brings more than 16 years of aerospace and defense industry experience to his new position and will be responsible for driving Mercury’s enterprisewide growth strategy, the company said Monday.

Stevison most recently served as vice president of strategy within the Raytheon Missiles and Defense unit and previously worked as VP of strategic and naval systems before Raytheon merged with United Technologies Corp. in April 2020.

The U.S. Army veteran also oversaw domestic and international variants of Raytheon’s Standard Missile 3 missile offering as the SM-3 program director.

Earlier in his career, Stevison worked for Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) and Miltec Systems in senior leadership posts.
