Mission Essential has secured a potential five-year, $695 million task order from the U.S. Army‘s Intelligence and Security Command to carry out language and cultural advisory services.
The company said Tuesday it will provide services under the force projection mission area of the Defense Language Interpretation Translation Enterprise II indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
The task order has a one-year base period and four one-year option periods.
The service branch added 11 firms to the DLITE contract in March.
Mission Essential has provided language interpretation, translation, transcription and cultural awareness services for the Operation Freedom’s Sentinel conventional and special operations mission since 2007.
