MetTel has won a potential $253M task order from the Social Security Administration via the General Services Administration’s potential 15-year, $50B Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions telecommunications contract vehicle, FCW reported Thursday.
SSA received four offers for the task order and expects work to conclude in July 2032, according to contracting documents. Sources said the task order includes the delivery of unified local, long distance and access management support to SSA as part of the “Grand SLLAM” project.
Diana Gowen, general manager and senior vice president at MetTel's federal program, told the publication the award marks the company’s first win on the EIS vehicle.
MetTel received in December a three-year authority to operate under GSA’s EIS contract following the completion of Business Support System tests.
