Melanie Anderson Joins HII Technical Solutions Business in VP Role; Andy Green Comments

Melanie Anderson, formerly head of human resources at KBRWyle™s engineering business, has joined Huntington Ingalls Industries™ (NYSE: HII) technical solutions division as vice president of human resources.

Anderson has two decades of HR experience in several companies across aerospace and defense, government services and technology sectors, HII said Tuesday.

She came to KBRWyle after parent company KBR (NYSE: KBR) acquired Honeywell™s (NYSE: HON) technical solutions business in 2016.

She also held senior HR executive positions at Honeywell, Boeing (NYSE: BA), Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) and Harris (NYSE: HRS).

HII also named Kristine DiMarco, formerly communications lead of fleet support group at technical solutions division, as director of communications for the same unit.

The 13-year company veteran who previously worked at the Office of Secretary of Defense and SRA International.

Andy Green, president of HII™s technical solutions division, said both Anderson and DiMarco bring their leadership experience to the more than 5,000-employee business organization that offers communication and program support to customers.

The technical solutions division was formed in December 2016 after HII completed its purchase of Huntsville, Alabama-based government services contractor Camber Corp.
