McCrone Associates and Schafer Vallecitos Laboratories have received a pair of potential eight-year contracts to provide non-personal services for the U.S. Air Force™s technical applications center.
The military branch awarded McCrone a potential $91 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract and Schafer a $90 million indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Defense Departmentsaid Monday.
Both contractors will work to analyze and process particle samples in support of the nuclear treaty monitoring operation of the Air Force Technical Applications Center.
Work will occur at the companies™ facilities in Illinois and California through Sept. 30, 2024 under the sole-source contracts.
