Maximus ‘ (NYSE: MMS) federal business has won a seven-year, $50 million contract from the Office of Personnel Management to run a health insurance customer service center for U.S. Postal Service employees, annuitants and their families, G2Xchange FedCiv reported Wednesday.
The report said Maximus Federal Services bested three bidders on the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to support the OPM’s Postal Service Health Benefits .
According to OPM, the program will begin offering coverage in 2025 to eligible USPS beneficiaries and replace current plans for this group under the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program.
