Matthew Candy, former managing director at Arena Strategic Advisors, has joined federal information technology contractor Trowbridge and Trowbridge as chief growth officer and executive vice president of corporate strategy and development.
Trowbridge said Monday the two-decade business veteran will lead the implementation of business development and acquisition strategies at the Enlightenment Capital-backed company.
Candy previously served as senior VP of corporate development at ManTech International (Nasdaq: MANT) and spent nine years at General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) information technology business as VP of strategic initiatives. He also held an eight-year career as a U.S. Navy officer.

Trowbridge is headquartered in McLean, Va., and offers cybersecurity, technology transformation and enterprise service desk services to the federal government.
