Matson, Ceva Win $469M in FEMA Logistics Support Contracts

Two companies have won contracts worth $469 million combined to help the Federal Emergency Management Agency transport commodities for disaster response and recovery operations in the Hawaii Islands.

FEMA awarded $279.2 million to Matson Logistics and $189.8 million Ceva Freight to support the agency’s Resource and Capability Transportation Support during Disasters program, according to award notices posted on SAM.gov.

Under the program, the two companies will help move water, fuel, generators, food and other commodities from ports in mainland U.S. to the islands before or after a disaster.

The RCTSD indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract vehicle includes a 12-month base period and four one-year optional periods.
