In this capacity, Carlson will oversee the government technology consulting firm’s business development efforts, pursue new client acquisitions and advance the delivery of innovative platforms to customers, EXPANSIA said Wednesday.
She will also bring to the role her experience in strategic planning, customer development and market expansion to meet the demands of the company’s clients.
In a LinkedIn post published Wednesday, Adam “AJ” Jarnagin, founder and CEO of EXPANSIA, said Carlson will help elevate the firm’s focus to accelerate platform readiness for defense, military and federal services.

The SVP most recently served as chief growth officer at IPTA, where she led the development and implementation of the company’s strategic growth initiatives.
Carlson joined IPTA from COLSA Corp., where she served as Northeast regional executive.
She currently serves as a regional vice president at AFCEA International.
