Mark Shaw, a two-decade veteran at ManTech International, was appointed vice president of STRAT at the Herndon, Virginia-based provider of defense management and technology support to government and industry customers.
The executive made the announcement via a LinkedIn post Wednesday.
Shaw most recently served as vice president of growth within the intelligence sector of ManTech. Before that, he was VP of capture and solutions.
The technology executive joined ManTech in 2005 as a program manager/technical lead for cyber defense, a role Shaw held for over five years. He was then promoted to senior executive director/executive director for cybersecurity operations in 2010 and to senior executive director for cyber solutions in 2016.
Earlier in his industry career, Shaw worked as senior security engineer at Capital One Financial.
He also served in the U.S. Air Force for five years. His roles were flight commander and team lead, according to his LinkedIn profile.
