The move follows CGI Federal’s acquisition of Aeyon in September in an effort to expand its digital transformation offerings and support services for U.S. federal civilian and national security agency customers.
Donar will be responsible for driving the integration of expertise, methodologies and capabilities of Aeyon into CGI Federal’s business unit operations, according to his LinkedIn profile.
“Focused on enabling profitable growth, my team and I ensure seamless integration while fostering sustained development and strategic support to help clients achieve their long-term goals,” noted Donar.
At Aeyon, the executive held roles of increasing responsibilities, including director of and eventually VP of logistics and supply chain management.
His industry career also includes time working as a director at Sehlke Consulting and as an associate at Booz Allen Hamilton.
Earlier, Donar served with the Marines, beginning in 1996 as a supply officer. His other previous roles in the U.S. Marine Corps were supply chain and contracting supervisor, director of supply chain management – supply officer and company commander, and director of materials management – materiel readiness officer.
