Mark Cavallaro, formerly a global service provider program executive at EMC Corp. (NYSE: EMC), has joined technology consulting firm Fusion PPT as chief operating officer.
He will be responsible for business operations, development and execution of growth strategies and service delivery efforts for civilian, Defense Department and intelligence customers, Fusion PPT said Thursday.

In his former role at EMC, Cavallaro led go-to-market partnerships and strategies for the company’s private and hybrid cloud services.
He managed a federal agencys cloud computing program operations for seven years before he joined EMC and was also a systems engineer and program manager at Mitre.
