ManTech International (Nasdaq: MANT) has received a potential five-year, $920M task order to help the U.S. Navy update intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance sensors aboard its maritime reconnaissance and patrol aircraft.
Work includes modernization of electronic intelligence capabilities for the service’s persistent surveillance, manned and unmanned MRPA as well as platform integration, model-based systems engineering, cyber and modernization of anti-submarine warfare signals intelligence systems, networking and communications equipment, mission crew workstations and other critical platforms, ManTech said Wednesday.
Kevin Phillips, president and CEO of ManTech and a 2020 Wash100 award winner, said ManTech has provided technologies to the Navy for more than five decades and the award reflects the company’s ability to support homeland and national security objectives aimed at protecting the country from ground, aerial and maritime threats.
The General Services Administration’s Federal Systems Integration and Management Center awarded the task order on behalf of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane.
