Kymeta has named Manny Mora as its new president and CEO, marking a leadership transition aimed at accelerating the company’s work in mobile satellite communications for the Department of Defense and allied governments.
Mora joins the organization following a 40-year career at General Dynamics Mission Systems, where he supported operational needs across the DOD, the Department of Homeland Security, the intelligence community and international partners.
“As the defense community modernizes its command-and-control infrastructure, Kymeta is uniquely positioned to deliver mobile satcom solutions that perform in the most demanding environments,” Nicole Piasecki, executive chair of the company’s board, commented. “Manny Mora brings the operational depth and strategic clarity to scale our impact and strengthen our role as a trusted partner to national security customers.”
“I’m honored to lead Kymeta at a time when secure, mobile connectivity is mission-critical,” Mora stated. “Our breakthrough technology is already transforming how defense and government customers communicate across domains. My focus is on accelerating innovation, expanding our deployment footprint and ensuring our solutions meet the evolving needs of our national security partners.”
In addition to leading Kymeta, Mora sits as a board member of the New Mexico State University Foundation. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering from New Mexico State University.
