He announced in a LinkedIn post his promotion to the senior executive position at the IT consulting company, where he most recently served as director.
As VP of government services, Forti will oversee the defense and federal civilian business of SkillStorm. He will be responsible for leading his team in creating a new technical force at scale for clients such as the departments of the Navy and the Treasury, Internal Revenue Service, Federal Trade Commission, Securities and Exchange Commission and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.
Forti has been with SkillStorm since 2022. He started as a technical recruiter before taking the role of manager of government services. He was eventually named director of government services, where he served for almost a year before his recent promotion. As director, his responsibilities included designing, building and deploying tech teams at scale for government system integrator companies.
Before joining SkillStorm, Forti served as cyber operations manager and FBI liaison for the U.S. Army Cyber Command. He also worked for Perspecta as cyber operations planner.
The Navy veteran spent over 20 years in the service, where he was a naval aviator for almost five years before taking various leadership roles– the last of which was as cyber operations officer.
Forti holds a Master’s Degree in Quality Systems Management from the National Graduate School of Quality Management and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Norfolk State University. He is also a Certified Ethical Hacker qualified by the EC-Council.
