Lockheed Martins (NYSE: LMT) Sikorsky subsidiary has received a potential four-year, $232 million contract modification from the U.S. Navy to provide two CH-53K helicopters designed to operate as system demonstration test article aircraft.
Work under the cost-plus-incentive-fee contract modification will occur in various locations within the U.S. through February 2020, the Defense Departmentsaid Friday.
The Naval Air Systems Command will obligate $11.2 million from the service branchs research, development, test and evaluation funds for fiscal 2016 at the time of award.
