The Department of Defense said Thursday Sikorsky will perform contract work at its Stratford, Connecticut location until June 30, 2027, the award’s estimated completion date.
The full contract modification amount was obligated at the time of the award using the Army’s fiscal 2024 aircraft procurement budget and Foreign Military Sales funds from Croatia and Jordan.
In January, the State Department approved a $500 million FMS request of the government of Croatia for eight UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters and aircraft components.
The potential deal also covers T700-GE 701D engines, M240H machine guns and counter missile warning systems, according to the Defense Security Cooperation Agency.
