The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity award includes a $91 million initial delivery order and a minimum guarantee contract, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Under the terms of the agreement, Sikorsky will be responsible for the development and integration of the vehicle’s global positioning system anti-jamming capabilities, mobile user objective technology and degraded visual environment systems. The company will also provide training systems for those features.
The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center in Ohio is the contracting activity. The service branch is obligating $5 million in fiscal 2023 research, development, test, and evaluation funds at the time of the award.
Sikorsky will complete the orders at its facility in Stratford, Connecticut, by September 2030.
