Lockheed Secures $135M Army Air-to-Ground Missile Contract Modification

Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) will continue to provide updated air-to-ground missiles to the U.S. Army under a three-year, $134.7M contract modification.

The service branch obligated the full amount of the modification for the Joint Air-to-Ground Missile procurement,  the Department of Defense said Wednesday.

Work will take place in Orlando through Feb. 28, 2023.

DoD granted Milestone C approval to the service branch’s JAGM program in June 2018.

JAGM is designed to help rotary-wing and unmanned aircraft operators recognize ground or naval targets with the system’s multimode seeker technology.
